Gapyeong County Launches 50% Discount Event on Shuttle Bus Fares
for Reservations Made Through KakaoT
Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province is launching a special event in celebration of the peak autumn tourism season, offering a 50% discount on tourist shuttle bus fares from September 24 to November 30.
This discount event is part of the "2025 Public-Private Tourism Transportation Revitalization Project," which is being promoted jointly by Gapyeong County, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea Tourism Organization.
Until November 30, tourists can reserve tickets through the Kakao Mobility KakaoT application and use the tourist shuttle bus for 4,000 won, which is half the regular fare. The county expects that this initiative will help reduce transportation costs for visitors during the autumn peak season and make it more convenient to travel to Gapyeong's major attractions.
The Gapyeong County Tourist Shuttle Bus operates year-round, connecting the county's major tourist destinations such as Jaraseom Island, The Garden of Morning Calm, Petite France & Italian Village, and the Nami Island dock. Passengers can freely get on and off at major stops, allowing them to conveniently visit various attractions in a single day.
A Gapyeong County official stated, "With this 50% discount event for the tourist shuttle bus, visitors will be able to tour Gapyeong’s major attractions conveniently and without financial burden. We hope many people will take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy an autumn trip in Gapyeong."
