These site visits will continue from the last week of September until before the holiday, and are being carried out under the theme of “A Happy Chuseok for All, Connecting with Citizens’ Hearts.” The focus is on fostering a warm and vibrant holiday atmosphere by prioritizing communication with citizens and visiting various sites and institutions that impact their daily lives.

Mayor Lee is arranging meetings with local elders, youth, and seniors, and will visit key local steel companies and Jukdo Market to promote the Pohang Love Gift Certificate and reaffirm his commitment to economic recovery. He also plans to participate in local festivals and events, such as the 2025 Pohang Craft Beer Festival, to stimulate consumption and revitalize local businesses.

In addition, he will attend the Senior Citizens’ Day ceremony on October 2 to express respect and gratitude to the elderly, and will volunteer to serve meals to vulnerable groups, sharing warmth with neighbors in need.

Mayor Lee will also visit military units, police, and other relevant agencies that will be on emergency duty during the holiday to offer encouragement and urge thorough preparation for disasters and accidents, so that citizens can enjoy a safe and comfortable holiday.

Mayor Lee stated, “This series of Chuseok site visits will be an opportunity to overcome the region’s economic difficulties together and to share heartfelt communication with citizens. We will focus the city’s efforts on stabilizing livelihoods and fostering communication so that everyone can enjoy a safe and happy holiday.”
