Korean Editors Association 61st Anniversary Commemorative Collection '60+1 Again, Editing: The Beginning of New Editing'.
The commemorative collection features the association’s history, major projects, records of on-site activities such as national editors’ seminars and overseas training programs, as well as a wide array of photographs. It also systematically compiles records of various editing awards, including the Korean Editing Award and the Editor of the Month Award. This publication is significant in that it comprehensively archives the history and achievements of the association.
Of particular note is the declaration of 'New Editing.' This goes beyond simple page layout, presenting a vision for the future of editors who interpret information and create context within the digital news ecosystem.
In the foreword, Association President Kim Changhwan emphasized, "The 61-year history is not merely an extension of numbers, but a starting point toward new journalism," adding, "I hope it will help spread the value of editorial journalism throughout society and serve as a foundation for future generations to continue this legacy with confidence."
