The Yeongyang Branch of the Gyeongbuk Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled (headed by Lee Heeja) organized a two-night, three-day family outing titled 'Our Family Love When Life Gives You Tangerines!' in the Ulleung County area from September 17 to 19.
This outing was designed to allow families with disabled members to bond emotionally and enjoy a time of relaxation together.
Participating families spent time recharging in the pristine natural environment of Ulleungdo, creating precious memories.
Shin Sangso (guardian) shared, "It is not easy to travel with a child with disabilities, but it was meaningful for the whole family to laugh and enjoy the experience together."
Branch Director Lee Heeja stated, "I hope this family outing provides healing and cultural experiences for families with disabled members and helps prevent social isolation. We will continue to support happy lives for families through a variety of customized programs in the future."
