This initiative was designed to provide strength and hope for a new beginning to elderly residents who lost their homes and experienced significant loss due to the large-scale forest fire, as well as to wish them a healthy and happy later life. The seniors participated in the photo sessions dressed neatly and with dignity, spending meaningful time during the process.
The event was sponsored by the Korean Red Cross, and the Cheongsong County Saemaeul Association, led by President Kwon Dongjun, participated as a volunteer organization. They helped ensure the safe transportation of the seniors and provided hairdressing and photography support, putting the spirit of warm sharing into practice.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee said, "I hope this will offer a small comfort and hope to the seniors who have suffered loss due to the forest fire," adding, "We will continue to do our best, together with the local community, to stabilize the lives of affected residents and improve their welfare."
