Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province announced on September 23 that the "2025 Gapyeong Jatgoeul Market Romantic Music Concert" will be held on a special stage at Gapyeong Jatgoeul Market on October 3.
This music concert is an event organized to revitalize the local commercial district and promote community harmony. It aims to offer visitors to the traditional market a romantic autumn atmosphere and a variety of cultural performances.
Now in its sixth year, the Romantic Music Concert will feature a pre-event starting at 5 p.m. and a main event lasting two hours from 6 p.m., promising a more vibrant musical celebration than ever before.
The pre-event will include prize draws, a performance by the Gapyeong United Children's Pansori Folk Song Group, and appearances by local singers. The main event will feature singer Han Hyejin, known for the song "Brown Memories," Park Sewook, winner of the 2024 KFBA Trot Singer Award, Kang Yujin, a contestant from Miss Trot 2, and local singer An Seongjin.
A Gapyeong County official stated, "Gapyeong Jatgoeul Market is a representative local market where tradition and modernity coexist. Through this Romantic Music Concert, we hope the market will become established not just as a marketplace but also as a space for culture and communication. We expect it to be a time when both residents and tourists can come together and enjoy themselves."
