New "Sleep Mat Hot Water," "Sleep Mat Carbon," and "Sleep Mat Carbon With Pet" Products Released
Kyungdong Navien announced on September 23 that it will launch three new products in the "Navien Sleep Mat" lineup, featuring artificial intelligence (AI) sleep technology.
The new products include the Sleep Mat Hot Water (EMW721), which supports Bluetooth remote control; the Sleep Mat Carbon (EME651P), which is fire-safe; and the Sleep Mat Carbon With Pet (EME650D), designed specifically for households with pets.
Kyungdong Navien offers precise temperature control in 0.5-degree increments and an "AI Sleep Mode," and has received the Good Sleep Gold Mark certification. This certification is granted by the Korea Sleep Industry Association to products deemed suitable for use with the purpose of sleep.
The core feature, "AI Sleep Mode," analyzes sleep stages by detecting breathing sounds via smartphone and automatically adjusts the mat's temperature accordingly. For example, during the REM sleep stage, when sensitivity to temperature changes increases, the mat lowers its temperature to prevent overheating. The "Sleep Mat Carbon With Pet" product distinguishes and analyzes only human breathing sounds, excluding those of pets. It also provides a sleep score based on the analysis of sleep stages.
The Sleep Mat Hot Water and Sleep Mat Carbon models feature a premium "cotton blend cover" used in hotel bedding. This combines functional polyester fabric, which is lightweight and resistant to wrinkling, with high-density "natural 60-count yarn," which prevents foreign substances from penetrating easily, enhancing both convenience and durability. As a result, the cover offers a soft texture that is gentle even on sensitive skin, prevents dust mites and dust from adhering, and helps prevent allergies. It is highly breathable and absorbent, quickly absorbing and releasing sweat, and retains its shape even after frequent washing.
