Tourism Enterprise Exchange to Open... 'Tourism Enterprise Connection Week' Runs Until the 26th

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that, together with the Korea Tourism Organization, it will host the "2025 Tourism Enterprise Connection Week" from September 23 to 26 at venues including Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, 1 Euro Project Bukgajwa, and Gangnam IT Square.


The Tourism Enterprise Connection Week is an event designed to promote exchange, cooperation, and networking among tourism venture companies and stakeholders in the tourism industry. Launched in 2021, this year marks its fifth edition. The theme for 2025 is "AI Transformation (AX) and the Reinvention of Travel Experiences," with participation from over 300 tourism venture companies, local governments, private enterprises, and investors. The event will feature a variety of programs, including lectures by domestic and international experts, one-on-one business consultations, and tourism venture exhibitions and experiential events.


The opening ceremony will take place on September 23 at Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, followed by an academic conference centered on the core theme of "Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Tourism Open Innovation." Leading figures from major Korean companies, such as Ko Kyungseon, Director at Kakao Mobility, and Lim Hyemin, CEO of Creatrip, will give lectures on topics including "How AI-Based Smart Mobility is Transforming Tourism" and "Taking K-Content Global: Expanding the Travel Ecosystem through Platforms."

On September 24, 1 Euro Project Bukgajwa will host one-on-one investment consultations and sessions to identify collaboration partners between businesses (B2B) and between businesses and government agencies.


On September 25, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul will host "Global Business Day," with participation from over 100 key representatives of leading global startups. Representatives from world-renowned business accelerators such as Plug and Play, Creww, and venture capital firm Quest Ventures will deliver keynote speeches on overseas market entry strategies and global trends. Company presentations targeting investors from North America, Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia will also be held for each market.


On September 26 at Gangnam IT Square, Kim Kiyoon, Managing Director at INFINITUM Partners, will deliver a lecture on the future of the tourism investment market, and the Korea Tourism Organization will host one-on-one consultation sessions (with prior business matching).


In addition, a variety of related events will take place, including the National Tourism Enterprise Support Center Council Meeting (September 23, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul), the National Tourism Dure Workshop (September 23, Sofitel Ambassador Seoul), Tourism Venture Women Entrepreneurs Leadership Training (September 24, 1 Euro Project Bukgajwa), and Alumni Outstanding Graduate Lectures (September 26, Gangnam IT Square).

Vice Minister Kim Daehyun stated, "With the launch of the new administration, establishing a foundation for a tourism industry that attracts 30 million international visitors has been announced as a key national policy task. We plan to systematically implement policies to drive innovation and growth for tourism enterprises," adding, "The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to provide unwavering support to strengthen the competitiveness and expand the reach of our companies."
