At the venue, experience booths will be set up for activities such as making grip tok accessories for dogs and cats, creating paw print memory frames, and conducting health checkups for companion animals. There will also be stage programs including a pet fashion show for walking outfits, an OX quiz, and a photo contest, all of which will add to the excitement of the event.

In addition, informative lectures will be given by Professor Park Cheol and Professor Yoon Jisun from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Jeonbuk National University. There will also be a 'One-Day Veterinarian Experience,' offering a special career exploration opportunity for young people aspiring to become veterinarians.

Visitors will receive commemorative gifts, including reusable bags, tumblers, and fans. Furthermore, generous prizes such as pet dryers, automatic feeders, dog strollers, and car seats will be given away through a stamp tour at each booth and event stage programs, adding to the fun at the site.

Notably, a promotional booth for 'Pet-Friendly Tourism City Pet Friend Iksan' will be set up at the event, introducing pet-friendly tourist destinations and travel programs in Iksan. In connection with the Education Advancement Special Zone project, there will also be a career experience booth run by students from Wonkwang Health High School.

The city expects that this festival will provide a meaningful experience where companion animals and citizens can come together and enjoy themselves, further strengthening Iksan's position as a pet-friendly tourism city.

A city official stated, "We sincerely thank the College of Veterinary Medicine at Jeonbuk National University for their efforts to vitalize the local community and campus," adding, "We will continue to expand pet-friendly culture in Iksan through close cooperation with the university, making Iksan a destination for tourists from across the country."

Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk National University Iksan Specialized Campus consists of the College of Veterinary Medicine and the College of Environmental Life Resources. Since 2010, the College of Veterinary Medicine has held an annual companion animal festival in collaboration with local residents.

The city plans to continue working with local universities to not only vitalize the campus but also to spread a mutually beneficial model that links education and tourism.
