KOSDAQ-listed company Oneul ENM announced on September 22 that it will add blockchain and global i-Gaming (online gaming and entertainment platform) businesses to its new business objectives at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders scheduled for October 31.
This is a strategic decision to respond to the rapidly changing digital environment and to secure long-term growth drivers. The proposed amendment to the articles of incorporation includes fintech areas such as blockchain platform development and application services, blockchain-based digital asset management and brokerage, and electronic payment gateway (PG) services. Additionally, the development and supply of i-Gaming software for the global regulated market will be added as a new business objective.
The company plans to maximize synergy with its existing content and entertainment business through this expansion of business objectives and to strengthen its portfolio of new businesses based on innovative technologies. In particular, by focusing on entry into global markets within a legally regulated environment, the company aims to secure market credibility and establish a stable foundation for growth.
A representative from Oneul ENM stated, "This amendment to the articles of incorporation is not merely a diversification of business, but a strategic turning point for reshaping the company's future vision and revenue structure. By integrating blockchain and i-Gaming businesses with our existing operations, we will create new revenue models and contribute to enhancing shareholder value."
