Encouraging Social Welfare Workers
and Listening to On-Site Feedback
Gijang County in Busan (Mayor Jung Jongbok) visited the Saehannuri Daycare Center and the Gijang Welfare Center for the Disabled, both located in Jeonggwan-eup, on September 18, and engaged in discussions with welfare facility officials.

This visit was part of the "Gijang Social Welfare Week" event, held in celebration of "Social Welfare Day 2025" (September 7), and was organized to encourage and recognize the dedication of social welfare workers who silently devote themselves at the frontlines of welfare services.
On this day, Mayor Jung Jongbok personally toured the welfare facilities and held a tea meeting with facility staff to listen to their opinions.
The county plans to use this on-site visit as an opportunity to strengthen communication with welfare facilities and continue providing various forms of support to deliver welfare services that residents can truly feel.
Mayor Jung stated, "I sincerely express my gratitude and respect to all social welfare workers who are doing their utmost for the development of local welfare," adding, "With ongoing attention and support, we will strive to enhance welfare services to ensure the satisfaction of our residents."
