Securing Momentum for Integrity Policy Initiatives
Operated to Identify and Improve Areas Vulnerable to Corruption
Chilgok County in North Gyeongsang Province held the "3rd Chilgok County Integrity Promotion Team Meeting of 2025" on September 18, chaired by County Governor Kim Jaewook and attended by the Deputy Governor, directors, and heads of departments.
The Integrity Promotion Team, led by County Governor Kim Jaewook and composed of senior public officials, serves as a decision-making body for integrity initiatives. It is operated to secure momentum for the county's integrity policies and to identify and improve areas vulnerable to corruption.
This meeting provided a comprehensive review of the achievements of the 2025 integrity policies. The team delivered final reports on the county's anti-corruption and integrity policy tasks, as well as the results of voluntary integrity initiatives by each sub-team, and discussed future improvement plans.
Kim Jaewook, Governor of Chilgok County, emphasized, "The more integrity becomes ingrained in our organizational culture, the greater the transparency and trust in county administration. Let us all work together to share the outcomes of integrity policies and to implement more effective and diverse integrity initiatives," calling for active interest and cooperation from the Integrity Promotion Team.
