Pohang's Signature Night Festival Returns on September 26-27:
"2025 Healing Feeling Pohang Railroad Forest Night Walk" to Be Held
Traditional Lanterns, Plogging, and Dog Playground Offer Interactive Experiences
A Night Filled with Lights, Performances, and Hands-On Activities
Pohang City will host the "2025 Healing Feeling Pohang Railroad Forest Night Walk" over two days, from September 26 to 27, in the area surrounding the Railroad Forest.
This festival, held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on both days, is organized under the slogan "Light Flowing Along the Railroad, A Night Where Emotions Bloom." It is designed to allow citizens and tourists to fully experience the romance and atmosphere of an autumn night in the urban Railroad Forest.
The Railroad Forest is a space where a former railway site has been transformed into green areas and walking paths. During the night walk event, traditional and retro-inspired lighting installations such as Cheongsachorong Trail, Ghost Whale Hanji Lanterns, and Lantern Road will be featured. There will also be participatory programs for citizens, including a dog playground, the Fire Garden Healing Wish Tree, and a plogging snack shop.
At the main stage, Hanteo Madang, the festivities will begin with a pre-ceremony performance by a youth choir, followed by the opening ceremony and the "Autumn Night Harmony Concert" featuring popular singers V.O.S and Beomjin on September 26. On September 27, citizens will take the stage for the "Citizen Pungnyu Performance," which will also include a musical gala show, magic, and a bubble show as part of the "Night Stroll Performance."
In addition, there will be ongoing programs such as a flea market, experience zones, photo zones, and street performances. Visitors can also participate in a stamp tour to enjoy various activities, and those who complete the tour will receive a "Wish Moon Lantern."
Lee Sanghyun, Head of the Tourism and Convention City Promotion Headquarters, stated, "The Railroad Forest is a beloved urban healing destination for people of all ages. I hope that many citizens and tourists will join us at this festival, which is filled with the romance of autumn nights and unique attractions."
