Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the 'Pyeongtaek Jije Station Future-Oriented Integrated Transfer Center Investment Briefing' at the Peace & Park Convention Center in Yongsan, Seoul, on September 29.
Pyeongtaek Jije Station was selected as the top project in the 'Future-Oriented Transfer Center Pilot Project (MaaS Station)' competition hosted by the Metropolitan Transport Commission under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The station is drawing attention as a hub for major development projects, including the metropolitan subway, the opening of the KTX line from Suwon, and the extension of the GTX-A and GTX-C lines.
At the briefing, the city will introduce the following: ▲ Pyeongtaek City's future vision ▲ the strengths of Pyeongtaek Jije Station ▲ the development direction of the integrated transfer center ▲ the schedule for selecting project implementers.
Pyeongtaek Mayor Jung Jangsun stated, "The investment briefing will serve as a turning point for Pyeongtaek Jije Station to emerge as a new landmark for transportation and the economy in South Korea."
