Yangju City Jang Ukjin Art Museum (Mayor Kang Suhyeon) announced on September 17 that it will host a special program, "Art Museum Walk with Dogs," on October 18, allowing visitors to enjoy the museum with their pets.
This program, which was first introduced last year, received an enthusiastic response. It was designed to open the museum's outdoor spaces to dogs, enabling participants to enjoy both art and nature simultaneously.
This year, the program has been expanded to offer a variety of experiences, including a dog playground, leash walking correction, dog yoga and massage, art workshops, and a talk concert with professional veterinarians.
Notably, new additions this year include the art workshop "Our Dog, Our Luck" with resident artist Ahn Junyoung from the 8th term of the Art Creation Studio, as well as the lecture "The Era of 100-Year-Old Pets," led by Kim Taemin, head of internal medicine, and Choi Jinseong, head of surgery, at N Animal Medical Center. These programs aim to provide a unique experience for both dogs and their owners.
Visitors wishing to participate in the program can make a reservation in advance through the museum's website and join free of charge. Museum admission is charged separately.
A representative from Yangju City Jang Ukjin Art Museum said, "Based on last year's positive feedback, we have prepared an even more diverse program this year. We hope to offer citizens a special day of culture, art, and healing at the museum with their dogs."
