Wadiz Partners with Start2Group to Become an 'Innovation Testbed for the Asian Market'

European Innovative Products Make Their Debut in Korean and Asian Markets
Through a Global B2B Platform

Wadiz announced on September 17 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Start2Group, a global startup acceleration specialist, to support global startups in entering the Korean and Asian markets.

Through this agreement, Wadiz aims to increase its platform recognition among German and global startups, and to introduce innovative European brands and products to the Asian market via Wadiz, serving as a bridgehead for their market entry.

Start2Group is a global accelerator headquartered in Munich, Germany. The company operates overseas expansion programs for startups across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and has collaborated with the German government and major institutions.

This agreement is intended to leverage the expertise and networks of both companies to help global startups successfully establish themselves in the market, vitalize the crowdfunding ecosystem, and create mutual business opportunities. Start2Group will recommend global startups to Wadiz and co-host briefing sessions to encourage their participation in crowdfunding projects. In addition, Start2Group will provide insights into the global startup ecosystem and technology trends.

Wadiz will apply a 'fast-track review' process for startups recommended by Start2Group, operate a marketing support program of up to 5,000 dollars, and share market insights based on domestic and international startup data. In particular, in the second half of this year, the two companies will jointly hold a year-end awards program to accelerate global startups' market testing in Korea. They will support German companies in launching funding projects on Wadiz and then evaluate their performance to present awards. Through this, participating companies can verify the response of the Korean market and secure an initial customer base and marketing references.

Shin Hyesung, CEO of Wadiz, said, "This collaboration is a new starting point for global startups to create opportunities in the Korean and Asian markets," adding, "We will continue to expand global partnerships and strengthen our role as a bridgehead connecting the consumer markets of Korea, China, and Japan."

Alina Marta, Director of Start2Group Korea, stated, "Korea is emerging as a key hub for global innovation, and together with Wadiz, we will actively support more global startups to grow in the Korean market."
