Yongsan District in Seoul (District Mayor Park Heeyoung) will provide an internet self-inspection service for approximately 880 licensed real estate agents operating in the area from September 15 to October 31. This inspection is a digital, non-face-to-face system designed to help real estate agents independently assess and verify their compliance with relevant regulations.

The inspection items include registration and reporting requirements for real estate offices (such as whether registration and qualification certificates are displayed and whether employment reports are properly filed), matters related to real estate work (such as the obligation to retain transaction contracts and the use of registered seals), as well as recent changes in systems and policies.
Real estate agents wishing to participate in the self-inspection can do so via the 'By Category Information - Real Estate & Land - Real Estate Brokerage Self-Inspection' section on the Yongsan District Office website. The district expects this service to reduce business inconveniences caused by on-site visits and to enhance the autonomy and sense of responsibility among real estate agents, thereby contributing to the establishment of a sound real estate transaction order.
Park Heeyoung, Mayor of Yongsan District, stated, "This is an opportunity for real estate agents to conduct their own inspections and reflect on their practices," adding, "Given the importance of real estate brokerage in Yongsan, where various development projects are underway, I hope this will strengthen professional ethics and legal compliance, leading to a transparent and safe brokerage culture."
