The "Korea Social Service Expo" is an event hosted and organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Central Social Service Agency to inform the public about the value of social services and to provide a venue for collaboration among various stakeholders. It is a comprehensive expo covering all areas of social services, including welfare, care, health and medical services, and senior-friendly initiatives.
This year's event, held under the slogan "Social Service ON, Lighting the Connection," focused on the theme "Diverse Connections, Opening Sustainable Social Services." The expo took place from September 9 to 10 at the Yangjae aT Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, with participation from government agencies, local governments, public institutions, private organizations, and companies.
At this event, Saerom MS was selected as an official exhibitor and introduced its non-face-to-face medical kiosk, "Saerodoctor." The company provided demonstrations, usage instructions, and hands-on experience events, while also conducting promotional activities and consultations for social service officials from local governments and public and private sectors.
Saerodoctor is an integrated non-face-to-face medical solution device that allows users to receive remote video consultations and send prescriptions to designated pharmacies with simple operations at the installed location, without having to visit a medical institution in person.
Through the kiosk terminal, users can select medical departments and healthcare professionals, make payments after consultations, send prescriptions to pharmacies, and choose where to pick up their medication. This "all-in-one" system enables users to access non-face-to-face medical services seamlessly.
The company emphasized that Saerodoctor stands out for its features tailored to public cooperation projects for medically underserved populations, such as a large screen for smooth communication and immersive remote consultations, as well as a user-friendly interface with large text and voice guidance.
A representative from Saerom MS stated, "We are working to distribute Saerodoctor mainly in medically underserved regions, senior centers, nursing homes, welfare facilities, and industrial complexes. Recently, we have also begun supplying the device after being selected for participation in projects such as the 'Local Government Smart Senior Center Project.'"
The representative added, "Through participation in a variety of public and private projects related to healthcare and medical welfare social services, we aim to help improve medical welfare for island and remote areas and vulnerable groups, as well as contribute to the revitalization of health and medical services."
