Chatbot Mobility Signs MOU with Mongolian Telecom and Distribution Companies, Accelerates Global Expansion

Follow-up Achievement After the "TS Mongolia Voyager Project" by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority

Chatbot Mobility is accelerating its entry into the global market by signing a strategic business agreement (MOU) with major companies in Mongolia.

The mobility concierge platform company, Chatbot Mobility, announced on the 15th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Gmobile LLC, a leading telecommunications company in Mongolia, and Magnai Trade LLC, an energy and distribution company.

Through this agreement, Chatbot Mobility plans to integrate Mongolia's local telecommunications network and gas station network with its own digital auto-commerce platform to gradually introduce comprehensive mobility services, including car sharing, vehicle management, smart fueling and payment, and electric vehicle charging.

The background behind Chatbot Mobility's decision to pursue this agreement lies in the rapid growth of the Mongolian automobile market. As of 2024, the number of registered vehicles in Mongolia has surpassed 900,000, resulting in increased urban traffic congestion and growing demand for vehicle maintenance and management. In addition, Ulaanbaatar City has announced plans to establish more than 25 charging hubs by 2030, accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles.

Gmobile is one of Mongolia's four major mobile carriers. It provides nationwide telecommunications and data services, and has recently expanded its business into digital services such as eSIM. Through its partnership with Gmobile, Chatbot Mobility aims to implement one-stop car sharing and rental services based on the local telecommunications network, enabling vehicle location tracking, reservations, and payments, as well as real-time vehicle monitoring through telematics services that utilize driving data. The company also plans to offer next-generation mobility experiences to Mongolian users through services that support electric vehicle charging station search, reservation, and payment.

Magnai Trade is a petroleum product import and distribution company established in 1994. It operates a nationwide network of gas stations in Mongolia and has recently expanded its business into distribution and retail. Through this agreement, Magnai Trade's gas station network is expected to be upgraded into "mobility stations" that support smart fueling, app-based payments, and reservations for vehicle maintenance, car wash, and minor repairs.

Through these initiatives, Chatbot Mobility aims to provide integrated management services to both internal combustion engine and electric vehicle customers, and to expand gas stations from simple fuel suppliers into digital, community-based mobility hubs.

This agreement is a follow-up achievement after Chatbot Mobility participated in the Korea Transportation Safety Authority's "TS Mongolia Voyager Project," which has been underway since the 6th, and confirmed the potential for entry into the local market.

Kang Sungkeun, CEO of Chatbot Mobility, stated, "Mongolia is a market where vehicle adoption, electric vehicle transition, and digital payment expansion are occurring simultaneously, making it the ideal environment to maximize synergy with Chatbot's service model. Through this partnership, we will validate an expansion model that combines local infrastructure with a digital platform, and demonstrate Chatbot Mobility's differentiated competitiveness in global markets such as Japan and North America."
