A Rich Lineup of K-POP, Dance Competitions, and Experience Booths
Dongjak District in Seoul (District Mayor Park Ilha) will host the urban dance festival “2025 Dongjak Dancing Day Festival” at Noryangjin Football Stadium (688 Nodeullo) on September 28 at 3:00 p.m.
Now in its second year, the festival is held under the slogan “The Most Seoul-like Day to Enjoy K-Dance, Our D-day for Everyone,” and is designed as a space where people of all ages can come together through dance.
The festival will kick off with performances by both open and official participants selected through a preliminary application process, followed by the “DDD-Contest” dance competition featuring teams that have passed the preliminaries. There will also be a “Random Play Dance” segment, where participants dance freely to randomly played K-POP songs, and a celebratory performance by the Hurrah-C cheerleading squad from Chung-Ang University. During the event, a live “Dance CAM Event” will allow residents to participate on-site and interact with the audience.
From 6:30 p.m., the opening ceremony will be followed by performances from K-POP singer Lee Jaehoon (Cool), dance crew HolyBang, and the dynamic duo Norazo. The festival will conclude with the “DDD-Contest” awards ceremony and the closing ceremony.
Additional attractions will include a dance experience booth, an art market, a photo zone, a food zone, and a flea market, offering a variety of activities for festival-goers.
