Bonghwa County Holds Local Legislative Practical Training to Strengthen Legal Response Capabilities of Public Officials Bonghwa County in Gyeongbuk is conducting local legislative education.

This training was organized in response to the increasing legislative activities of local governments, the diversification of administrative demands, and the resulting rise in related lawsuits.

The lectures were led by Professor Seo Yongwoo, an appointed instructor from the National Human Resources Development Institute, along with a team of experts from the Ministry of Government Legislation. The program focused on practical topics such as interpreting laws, key considerations when enacting or revising ordinances, and strategies for responding to administrative litigation.

Im Kisoo, Director of Planning and Budget, stated, "Legislation and litigation work are among the most unfamiliar and challenging areas for public officials. Through specialized training, we aim to prevent potential legal issues and strengthen our problem-solving abilities, thereby providing administrative services that earn greater trust from residents."

Bonghwa County plans to institutionalize this practical training to continuously enhance legal expertise. The county expects that, as a result, local officials will reduce legal disputes in their administrative work and contribute to protecting residents' rights and improving public trust in administration.

The county emphasized the core value of "practical, hands-on training" and differentiated its efforts by connecting the training not only to educational outcomes but also to the broader goals of administrative trust and the protection of residents' rights.
