Demonstration Event for Video Content Industry
Leveraging Color Reproduction and Contrast Ratio
B2B Strategy and Roadshow in the US
LG Electronics is launching the second generation of its professional monitor, 'LG OLED Pro,' designed for video content professionals.
According to industry sources on September 14, LG Electronics held a demonstration event for the second generation of LG OLED Pro last month at the LG Twin Towers in Yeouido, Seoul, inviting professionals from the broadcasting, film, and online video service (OTT) industries to announce the product's launch.
The new product features a 65-inch 4K organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel and an interface capable of transmitting high-quality, high-capacity content reliably without compression, reflecting the needs of the industry.
It is equipped with optimized calibration functions that ensure uniform screen brightness and color, and applies color correction profiles. LG Electronics also provides ongoing color calibration services to help creators express the intended color tones accurately.
With a TV-like design, the monitor is easy to install and move, making it suitable not only for in-house content screenings at production companies but also for real-time monitoring on set.
LG Electronics is expanding its presence in the global content market by leveraging the color reproduction and contrast strengths of its OLED TVs and monitors.
In May, the company also held a roadshow in Los Angeles, United States, showcasing its OLED TVs.
An LG Electronics representative stated, "LG OLED Pro is the result of optimizing LG's accumulated OLED technology for professional production environments. As a solution that combines image quality, color accuracy, and practical usability on production sites, it will contribute to enhancing the quality of video content."
