Roakitchen Wins Top Prize at Chungnam Startup Competition

Tenant Company at Korea University of Technology and Education Startup Incubation Center Recognized for Innovation in Unmanned Pizza Robot

Roakitchen, a tenant company at the Korea University of Technology and Education Startup Incubation Center, won the top prize at the 2025 Chungnam Startup Incubation Center Tenant Startup Competition with its "24-hour unmanned pizza cooking and packaging robot."

According to the university on September 12, the competition was hosted and organized by the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Government and Chungnam Technopark, with 36 companies selected from 15 startup incubation centers in the Chungnam region participating.

Roakitchen showcased its 24-hour unmanned integrated pizza cooking and packaging robot, earning recognition from the judges for its innovation and business potential, and was awarded the top prize.

The winning company receives a commendation from the Governor of Chungcheongnam-do and 8 million won in business funding. Roakitchen plans to accelerate the development of next-generation devices that enable full automation.

CEO Lee Dageun stated, "We will continue to focus on technology development to introduce products that benefit small business owners and self-employed individuals, and we aim to make Roakitchen Pizza known to even more consumers."

Roakitchen moved into the Korea University of Technology and Education Startup Incubation Center in March last year and has been operating a store utilizing its automated pizza cooker, continuing real-world testing.
