Six Years Without Labor Disputes... Leading Exemplary Labor-Management Culture Through Trust and Cooperation
Chungnam Development Corporation has received the "2025 Excellent Labor-Management Relations Company" certification from the Korea Management Certification Institute, drawing attention as a leading example of exemplary labor-management culture among local public enterprises.
According to the corporation on September 12, the Excellent Labor-Management Relations Company certification is awarded to companies that have established cooperative and future-oriented relationships based on trust and respect between labor and management. Companies are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of leadership, relationship maturity, and satisfaction.
The corporation received high marks for the following: ▲genuine cooperation through regular communication between labor and management ▲realization of shared social values ▲labor-management relations focused on supporting the local community and vulnerable groups ▲creating a work environment that supports work-life balance.
President Kim Byungkeun stated, "This certification is the result of the trust and cooperation built together by the corporation and the labor union," adding, "As a representative local public enterprise of Chungnam, we will continue to lead by example in fostering exemplary labor-management culture."
Meanwhile, since its establishment in 2020, the corporation's labor union has laid the foundation for mutual growth through the 2024 Joint Declaration for Labor-Management Coexistence. For six consecutive years, it has maintained stable labor-management relations with no labor disputes or conflicts.
