On September 11, the People Power Party appointed Assemblyman Seo Chunho as the new Deputy Secretary General for Strategic Planning and Assemblyman Kang Myungku as the Deputy Secretary General for Organization. The party also passed an agenda item allowing the heads of city and provincial party committees in the Seoul metropolitan area to attend and speak at the Supreme Council meetings.

Chief Spokesperson Choi Boyoon met with reporters at the National Assembly after the Supreme Council meeting and stated, "Assemblyman Seo, who has a deep understanding of party affairs, and Assemblyman Kang, who previously served as a district party committee head in Seoul, are the right people to secure victory in the upcoming local elections."

The Deputy Secretary General for Strategic Planning assists the Secretary General and is responsible for strategy, personnel, finance, and media-related work. The Deputy Secretary General for Organization oversees the overall operation of the party's internal organization.

On this day, the Supreme Council passed a measure allowing the heads of city and provincial party committees in the Seoul metropolitan area to attend and speak at the Supreme Council meetings, which are held twice a week. Chief Spokesperson Choi stated, "There will now be an opportunity to hear opening remarks on local issues from these committee heads."

For party district committee heads outside the Seoul metropolitan area, they are expected to attend when the party leadership visits their regions. With the local elections scheduled for June next year, this move aims to listen to regional issues and increase the party's chances of victory in the elections.

Additionally, the People Power Party decided to form a task force regarding the detention of approximately 300 Koreans in the state of Georgia, United States. Chief Spokesperson Choi said, "There is a strong consensus within both the party leadership and the parliamentary group on the need to operate a task force," adding, "We will make every effort to launch it as soon as possible."
