KB Financial Launches Mobile Voice Phishing Prevention Education with Food Truck

Practical Financial Education for Residents in Aging and Digitally Isolated Communities
Improved Accessibility Through Collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and University Student Volunteers

Starting September 11, KB Financial Group will launch a "Mobile Voice Phishing Prevention Education" program for rural residents struggling with digital and financial information gaps, using a food truck to reach various communities.

This initiative combines KB Financial Group's "KB Good Food Truck" and voice phishing education with the university student rural talent sharing program organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The university student volunteer group will assist with on-site operations, including guidance and education using the latest voice phishing prevention content developed by KB Financial Group. KB Financial Group will serve as a mobile hub, providing the food truck, educational materials, and snacks.

Starting in Jinan County, North Jeolla Province, the program will travel to Gumi in North Gyeongsang Province, Damyang in South Jeolla Province, Asan in South Chungcheong Province, and Yeoju in Gyeonggi Province, visiting towns and villages in each region to educate residents on the latest voice phishing and smishing techniques.
