This year's festival, themed 'Youth Playground,' has been designed as a vibrant urban regeneration street festival that combines the passion and creativity of young people with the culture and identity of the local community. In particular, it has been planned as a platform where the younger generation can engage with the region and explore new possibilities.

Following the opening ceremony and celebratory performance on September 30, a variety of programs will welcome residents and visitors, including department-specific experiential programs from Kangwon National University Dokye Campus, a flea market, urban regeneration and university town promotional booths, Youth Playground cultural and artistic performances, the Dokyein Star Contest, the Dokyegirl Yutnori Tournament, the University Town Coexistence Idea Contest, Open House Dokye, the Youth Work-Life Balance Camp, a charcoal-grilled food zone, and ongoing Pumba performances, among other food and entertainment events.

Applications are also being accepted for participants in various categories for the 2025 Dokye University Town Street Festival 'Youth Playground.' The five categories are the Coexistence Idea Contest, Artist Participation, Booth Participation, Dokyein Star Competition, and Open House. Those interested can apply via Google Forms (QR code provided) or through the Dokye Urban Regeneration Field Support Center blog by September 12 (by September 19 for the Idea Contest). Consent for the use of personal information is required, and applicants must submit materials such as performance introductions, booth operation plans, or idea proposals according to the guidelines for each category.

An event official stated, "Through this festival, we aim to present a new model of cooperation between the university and the local community, and to promote youth-led regional revitalization, thereby enhancing the cultural brand value of Dokye-eup. We hope many citizens and visitors will participate and create special memories together."
