Kiwoom Securities Launches "Our Child Independence Account Together with Kiwoom" Event

On September 9, Kiwoom Securities announced that it is launching the "Our Child Independence Account Together with Kiwoom" event to help minor children build their assets.

This event is open to all minor customers who have an account with Kiwoom Securities. Through the "Collect More Domestic Stocks" program, which allows for systematic investments in domestic stocks, the first 10,000 participants will receive support amounting to 5% of their transaction amount. The maximum support amount is 50,000 won per person.

To be eligible for the support payment, participants must have accumulated at least 50,000 won and made a minimum of five deposits. The event runs until October 30.

A giveaway event for childcare products is also being held. Prizes such as the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair set, Poled car seat, baby bottle sterilizer, automatic formula maker, and eco-friendly laundry detergent will be awarded through a drawing. For every 100,000 won in domestic stock transactions, participants will receive one entry ticket. An additional ticket is given for event registration and for opening a new account.

Additionally, Kiwoom Securities announced the launch of a "Proxy Order Service" for minors on its mobile trading system, HeroS#. This service allows parents to log in with their own accounts and place buy or sell orders on behalf of their minor children. It can be registered at the same time as opening a new account for the child.

A Kiwoom Securities representative stated, "We have prepared this event to support the economic independence of minor children together with Kiwoom Securities," and added, "In line with the societal trend of helping future generations build assets, we will continue to provide a variety of services for minor customers and those supporting them."

More details about the event and services can be found on the Kiwoom Securities MTS, HeroS#.
