During the second to fourth meetings, the committee carefully reviewed the validity of projects and the appropriateness of budget allocations by listening to departmental proposals and engaging in Q&A sessions regarding the "2025 Yeongcheon City Second Supplementary Budget Bill" and the "2025 Yeongcheon City Second Fund Operation Change Plan."

Chairperson Bae Suye stated, "This review focused on proactively reflecting projects necessary to address local issues and improve citizens' welfare, while decisively adjusting unnecessary projects and areas with concerns of budget waste to ensure fiscal soundness."

Meanwhile, the second supplementary budget bill, which was preliminarily reviewed by the Administrative and Welfare Committee, will undergo a comprehensive review by the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts and is scheduled for final approval at the second plenary session on September 11, 2025.
