Han Donghoon Has Continued Live Streaming Since April
Criticism Raised: "May Appear Too Laid-Back Amid Serious Political Turmoil"
Within Han Donghoon’s close circle, some have raised concerns about former People Power Party representative Han Donghoon’s “live broadcast politics.” They worry that the content of his broadcasts may appear too lighthearted given the party’s serious situation, potentially resulting in a frivolous image. Park Jungha, a People Power Party assemblyman considered part of Han’s faction, appeared on MBC Radio’s “Focus” on the 9th and, when asked what he thought about Han’s live broadcasts, responded, “The party is in chaos right now, so it looks too relaxed.” He added, “There are some aspects of Han’s live broadcasts that are a bit uncomfortable. It’s fine to do live broadcasts to meet the needs and wants of the audience, but for more traditional politicians like myself, it feels a bit light. It looks too laid-back.”

Park continued, “I hope that the approaches or devices that make it look too relaxed, especially when the party is in such turmoil, will be removed. I have made such requests, and I believe things will change.” He further emphasized, “Han Donghoon understood that it was a ‘perfectly reasonable point.’ I understood that he intends to make changes, and I think using a different approach will resonate much more. I believe he thinks so as well.”
Finally, regarding the criticism that Jang Donghyuk, the party leader, directed at Han Donghoon during the party convention, Park added, “I think he referred to Han Donghoon in strong terms either to slightly shift the perspective of the hardline supporters who are demanding a more aggressive fight against the opposition, or to signal that ‘now is the time to focus here.’”
