Gyeonggi Tourism Organization and Yeoncheon County Host "Yeoncheon Tour Fam Tour"

On September 9, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization held the "A Five-Senses Satisfying Yeoncheon Tour: Eat, See, and Enjoy" fam tour in the Yeoncheon area.

This fam tour was organized not only for the "Kkitour Reporters," a group of tourism experts affiliated with the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, but also for a variety of content creators including bloggers and Instagrammers. Participants directly experienced major new tourist attractions in Yeoncheon and created and shared online content based on their experiences.

The participants first visited the Yeoncheon prehistoric sites, where they took part in hunting and barbecue tasting experiences. They then visited the Eundaeri Culture Brick Factory to view media art capturing the scents and sounds of Yeoncheon. After enjoying lunch at Halmae Wang Jokbal, a restaurant selected as a "Gyeonggi Old Shop," they moved to the Yeoncheon Brewery to experience making Dongdongju, a traditional Korean rice wine, using Yeoncheon’s specialty, Job’s tears. The tour also included a relaxing tea break at the Ceravi Hanok Cafe, which features a traditional Korean house atmosphere, and a photo session at Daebssari Park at sunset, allowing participants to experience a variety of Yeoncheon’s tourism content.

A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "This fam tour focused on promoting the diverse charms of Yeoncheon, made possible through the support and cooperation of Yeoncheon County. We expect that the fun and informative content produced by the various participants will further showcase Yeoncheon as a tourist destination and contribute to revitalizing tourism in northern Gyeonggi Province."
