This donation ceremony was part of the small and medium business community's efforts to practice a culture of sharing, aimed at supporting increased sales in traditional markets and helping the local community overcome difficulties. The Love Sharing Foundation purchased rice from Danyang Traditional Market, the largest traditional market in Danyang County, Chungbuk, and provided it to four local welfare facilities: Danyang Senior Welfare Center, Danyang Disabled Welfare Center, Daraedongsan, and the Chungbuk Parents' Association for the Disabled Danyang County Branch.
Han Byungjun, Vice Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, "By purchasing goods at a traditional market, which is a model of the local economy, we helped revitalize local consumption and shared warmth by delivering these goods to local welfare facilities." He added, "I hope that domestic consumption will be revitalized so that small business owners and the self-employed can gain strength and become a solid pillar of the local economy."
