President Lee Jaemyung will hold a town hall meeting in Gangwon Province on September 12.
On September 9, President Lee announced on his social media that "200 residents of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province will be invited to join the discussion with the President." Applications for the town hall meeting will be accepted from today until 2:00 p.m. on September 10.
President Lee stated, "Based on the vivid voices of local residents, we will develop reasonable and sustainable solutions for the development of the K-Cultural Tourism Belt, the establishment of a global tourism hub, and innovative policies for balanced regional growth." He added, "We will listen carefully to your valuable opinions and seek alternatives together."
