"2nd Integrity Improvement Measures Report Meeting" Held
Hamyang County announced on September 9 that it held the "2025 2nd Integrity Improvement Measures Report Meeting" in the main conference room of the county office, seeking practical directions to enhance integrity.
The meeting, presided over by County Governor Jin Byungyoung, brought together the Integrity Nuri Action Group-a council of senior officials including the deputy governor, directors, and all department and office heads. The session was organized to strengthen efforts to improve areas vulnerable to corruption within Hamyang County and to share the progress of integrity initiatives by department, with the goal of establishing effective anti-corruption policies.
Based on last year's integrity assessment results and the results of the county's own integrity survey conducted in the first half of this year, the Planning and Audit Officer reported on the status of integrity initiatives addressing the county's overall corruption-prone sectors identified through analysis.
Each department then shared specific examples of their efforts to improve integrity over the past year, as well as their future plans.
Notably, this meeting went beyond a simple performance report. It served as a meaningful opportunity to discuss concrete improvement measures for institutional shortcomings and operational vulnerabilities that had been identified, thereby aiming to establish practical solutions.
County Governor Jin Byungyoung stated, "Integrity is the starting point of all administration and an essential condition for earning the trust of our residents. I hope this meeting will serve as an opportunity to continuously monitor corruption-prone areas and help foster a voluntary and proactive culture of integrity in each department."
Meanwhile, Hamyang County plans to regularly inspect integrity measurement indicators and consistently implement effective anti-corruption policies.
