According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected rainfall for the two days of September 9 and 10 is as follows: 20 to 80 millimeters in Gwangju and South Jeolla Province (with over 100 millimeters in the southern part of South Jeolla), 5 to 50 millimeters in North Jeolla Province, 20 to 60 millimeters in Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang Province (with more than 80 millimeters near Jirisan Mountain and the southern coast of Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang), 10 to 60 millimeters in Daegu and southern North Gyeongsang Province, and 5 to 20 millimeters in central and northern North Gyeongsang Province. Jeju Island is expected to receive 20 to 60 millimeters of rain through September 11, with some areas seeing more than 80 millimeters.

The highest daytime temperatures are forecasted to range from 23 to 30 degrees Celsius. As of 5 a.m., major regional temperatures are as follows: Seoul 22.4 degrees, Incheon 23.1 degrees, Suwon 20.8 degrees, Chuncheon 20.1 degrees, Gangneung 24.5 degrees, Cheongju 22.7 degrees, Daejeon 20.6 degrees, Jeonju 20.6 degrees, Gwangju 19.3 degrees, Jeju 26.4 degrees, Daegu 18.3 degrees, Busan 24.1 degrees, Ulsan 19.6 degrees, and Changwon 22.5 degrees.

The fine dust concentration is expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide, due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the effects of rainfall.

Waves in the sea are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters high in the coastal waters of the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the coastal waters of the West Sea. In offshore areas about 200 kilometers from the coastline, wave heights are forecasted to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
