A day laborer cutting trees in a mountain area in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, was killed after being struck by a rolling boulder during work.
According to the Gimhae West Police Station, at around 9:55 a.m. on September 7, a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, was hit by a boulder that rolled down together with a falling tree while he was logging in a mountain area in Gimhae.
Mr. A was rushed to the hospital but ultimately passed away later that morning.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning those involved.
