Gangwon Tourism Foundation and Lake Culture Tourism Zone to Operate "Leisure and Let's Go Camping" Program

Linked Events in Inje, Chuncheon, Hongcheon, and Yanggu Continue through November

The Gangwon Tourism Foundation (CEO Choi Sunghyun) and the Lake Culture Tourism Zone (Chuncheon, Hongcheon, Yanggu, Inje, hereinafter referred to as the Lake Culture Zone) announced on September 7 that they will operate the "Leisure and Let's Go Camping" program from September to November.

"Leisure and Let's Go Camping" is a project that has been promoted since 2023, with more than 1,000 participants each year and a high level of satisfaction. In particular, last year's camping program was so popular that registration closed just one week after opening.

This year, the program will also promote local festivals, including the Chuncheon Makguksu Dakgalbi Festival, the Hongcheon Ginseng Hanwoo Premium Festival and Apple Festival, and the Yanggu Punch Bowl Siraegi Apple Festival.

The main programs feature leisure sports unique to the four cities and counties in the Lake Culture Zone: canoeing in Chuncheon, Garisan leisure sports in Hongcheon, My Canoe in Yanggu, and rafting in Inje. Especially this year, there will be a greater focus on the camping program, with a variety of additional events such as the Camping Cooking Festival, Romantic Busking on Autumn Nights, and a Carbon Neutral Sharing event.

Choi Sunghyun, CEO of the Gangwon Tourism Foundation, said, "The Lake Culture Tourism Zone boasts the best scenery, where the clear autumn sky and blue lakes come together," adding, "I hope many people will fully experience the charm of the Lake Culture Zone through this program."

Applications for participation can be made by reservation through Naver Smart Store, starting with Inje, and tickets for events in Chuncheon, Hongcheon, and Yanggu will also become available in sequence.
