Search Continues Into the Night After Report of Person Falling Near Sebitseom

A report was received that a person had fallen into the Han River in Seoul, prompting authorities to conduct a search into the night.


On September 5, at approximately 5:47 p.m., the police and fire department received a report stating that "a woman entered the Han River on her own." Underwater search operations were carried out near Sebitseom in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu.


After failing to locate the individual, the search was called off at around 7:27 p.m., but the police are continuing to search the surrounding area. A police official stated, "No evidence of a crime has been found."
