NHN announced on the 5th that Lee Sedol 9-dan's special lecture, held the previous day at the Pangyo headquarters, concluded successfully.

Lee Sedol 9-dan is giving a special lecture on April 4th at the NHN Pangyo headquarters titled "The Attitude of Embracing AI: The Power of Creative Questions and Proactive Judgment." Provided by NHN

This lecture was organized as part of the company's internal training program, "AI School," which aims to strengthen employees' capabilities in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI).

Since July, NHN has launched the AI School to provide employees with a foundation for growing alongside AI, covering everything from understanding the latest AI trends to acquiring practical application skills and gaining insights for the AI era. To address the practical question of "How can we use and leverage AI effectively?" the program is divided into the "AI Insight Class" and the "One-Day Skill Class."

Lee Sedol 9-dan delivered a special lecture titled "Attitude Toward Embracing AI: The Power of Creative Questions and Proactive Judgment" during the seminar-style Insight Class, which was held with AI experts. He spoke about the human strengths and attitudes needed to thrive in an era of coexistence with AI, sharing various experiences and reflections on the essence of creativity he felt during matches against AI, including his 2019 retirement match against the Hangame Baduk AI, Handol. At that time, he concluded his 25-year professional career with a record of two wins and one loss against Handol.
