Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dongyeon is restarting the "Livelihood Economy Field Tour." Beginning in Pyeongtaek City on August 20, Governor Kim will carry out a 70-day tour of the livelihood economy sites in all 31 cities and counties in the province, continuing until the end of October.
Gyeonggi Province announced that Governor Kim will visit Suwon City for the livelihood economy field tour on the 12th.
On that day, Governor Kim will have a tea meeting with Suwon Mayor Lee Jaejun at the Gyeonggi Human Resources Development Institute, followed by attending an on-site briefing session for the Gyeonggi North Suwon Technovalley master plan. At this event, Governor Kim plans to release the master plan for the development of North Suwon Technovalley.

Next, he will visit Sungkyunkwan University to hold a discussion with students from the Department of Semiconductor Systems Engineering about the creation of a research and development cluster through industry-academia cooperation, as part of the initiative to establish an R&D Science Park.
In the afternoon, Governor Kim will attend the "2025 Gyeonggi Province Social Economy Expo" held at the Suwon Convention Center. He will then move to the Suwon Film Culture Tourism District to announce the results of a contest conducted for self-employed individuals and residents, and will also unveil a plan for the integrated development of tourism resource-based hub facilities linked to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Hwaseong Fortress.
