Goryeong County Kkum Dream: All Nine Out-of-School Youths Pass High School Equivalency Exam

Nine youths affiliated with the Goryeong County Out-of-School Youth Support Center "Kkum Dream" (Dream) in Goryeong County, North Gyeongsang Province (Governor Lee Namcheol), all passed the 2nd High School Equivalency Examination of 2025.

A county official noted that this achievement is significant not only as an academic milestone but also as a crucial turning point, as these youths continue their educational journey and move forward toward their dreams and futures.

Since 2016, Goryeong County Kkum Dream has operated a "Learning Support Team" to systematically assist youths in preparing for the equivalency exam. Personalized learning guidance, emotional support, and the dedication of the support team teachers all contributed to the successful outcome of every examinee passing the exam.

Park Hyunsoo, head of the center, stated, "This achievement is a valuable result thanks to the perseverance and passion of the youths, as well as the dedication of the support team. We will continue to be a strong support system so that out-of-school youths can confidently pursue their journey toward their dreams without giving up."

The Goryeong County Out-of-School Youth Support Center actively supports the stable growth and independence of youths by offering a variety of tailored services, including preparatory classes for the equivalency exam, career counseling, support for obtaining certifications, and meal assistance.
