[Market Focus] "Overseas Expansion, Growth Momentum" Now Robotics Surges Over 11%

Now Robotics, a company specializing in industrial robots and automation systems, is showing double-digit gains in the domestic stock market on September 1. The surge is attributed to growing expectations for the company’s growth, fueled by the full-scale expansion into overseas markets and the completion of its second factory.

[Market Focus] "Overseas Expansion, Growth Momentum" Now Robotics Surges Over 11%

As of 10:23 a.m. on this day, Now Robotics' stock price was trading at 18,660 won, up 11.07% from the previous session. Earlier in the session, the price reached 19,950 won per share, coming close to the 20,000-won mark.

This is interpreted as investor buying driven by heightened expectations for growth surrounding the company’s overseas expansion. Hana Securities released a corporate analysis report on this day, stating, "Growth momentum will expand through entry into overseas markets," and added, "Securing large-scale, high-quality clients is expected to lead to repeat orders and a stable order backlog. Sales in 2026 are projected to reach 21.5 billion won, with a turnaround to operating profit. In 2027, sales could reach 35 billion won, with margins in the double digits being fully achievable."

Han Yugeon, a researcher at Hana Securities who authored the report, cited Now Robotics’ competitive advantages as its ability to build a full lineup that covers all areas, as well as its proprietary software, including robot frameworks, and in-house hardware design technology. He also noted that the company is continuously increasing the internalization rate of key components such as reducers, and projected that the current cost ratio, which is in the mid-70% range, could significantly decrease to 60% by 2026.

Han further stated, "Based on these core competitive strengths, the company is expected to fully accelerate its overseas market expansion through strategic cooperation with global company Z. From a mid- to long-term perspective, this will serve as a positive factor in establishing a global network and securing sales channels. The supply model is also expected to expand beyond industrial robots to include autonomous logistics robots." Now Robotics is also in the process of expanding its second factory to proactively respond to increased demand. The completion is expected around February 2026.
