Measures to Reduce Water Consumption and Minimize Guest Inconvenience
Shilla Monogram Gangneung announced on August 31 that it has decided to suspend the operation of water-related facilities, such as the swimming pools and saunas in both the hotel and residences.
Shilla Monogram Gangneung plans to halt operations of these facilities as soon as the day's operations conclude, following the government's declaration of a disaster in Gangneung, Gangwon Province-an area suffering from severe drought-and the issuance of a national fire service mobilization order for the drought-affected region.
Operations of water-related facilities, including the swimming pools and saunas, will be suspended until the disaster situation is resolved. The hotel will inform and request understanding from customers who have already purchased swimming pool packages.
If customers cancel their reservations, they will receive a full refund.
A Shilla Hotel representative stated, "We plan to actively implement various measures to reduce water consumption in both the hotel and residences while minimizing inconvenience for our guests."
