Professor Jaehyung Park appointed as the 4th hospital director of Sejong Chungnam National University Hospital.

Jaehyung Park, the Deputy Director of Public Affairs at Chungnam National University Hospital in Daejeon and Professor of Cardiology, has been appointed as the 4th Hospital Director of Sejong Chungnam National University Hospital (current director: Kwon Gyecheol).

Director Park's term will run for two years, from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2027. The newly appointed director graduated from the College of Medicine at Jeonbuk National University in 1997, earned his master's degree from the same university, and later obtained his doctorate from the Graduate School of Ulsan University. After serving as a resident and clinical instructor at Asan Medical Center in Seoul, he has worked as a professor in the Department of Cardiology at Chungnam National University Hospital since March 2005. He has also held various positions, including Head of the Cardiology Division, Director of Informatization, Director of the Daejeon Regional Senior Healthcare Center, Director of Clinical Support, and Deputy Director of Public Affairs.

Notably, he has actively contributed to the advancement of medicine by serving in key roles such as Public Relations Director of the Korean Society of Echocardiography, Policy Director of the Korean Society of Heart Failure, General Affairs Director of the Korean Society of Pulmonary Hypertension, Insurance Director of the Korean Society of Hypertension, and Information Director of the Korean Society of Echocardiography.
