HDC Hyundai Development Company Begins Sales of Chuncheon Lake City 2nd Phase I-Park

218 Units Focused on Mid-to-Large Sizes;
First-Priority Applications Open September 2
A Brand Town of About 1,000 Units with the Adjacent First Phase

On August 29, HDC Hyundai Development Company opened the model house for Chuncheon Lake City 2nd Phase I-Park and officially began sales.

Chuncheon Lake City 2nd Phase I-Park is located at 22-1 Samcheon-dong, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do, and consists of three buildings with four basement levels and up to 29 floors above ground, totaling 218 units. The number of units by exclusive area is as follows: 161 units of 84㎡A, 29 units of 144㎡A, and 28 units of 144㎡B.


Applications will be accepted starting with special supply on September 1, followed by first-priority applications on September 2 and second-priority applications on September 3. The winners will be announced on September 10, and official contracts will be signed from September 22 to 24.


In front of Chuncheon Lake City 2nd Phase I-Park, a brand town of approximately 1,000 units will be completed, including Chuncheon Lake City 1st Phase I-Park, which is scheduled for occupancy in 2026. In the first phase, during the first-priority application in 2023, 13,237 applications were submitted for 477 units, resulting in a competition ratio of 27.75 to 1.


The project is conveniently located near Chuncheon Station and Namchuncheon Station, which provide access to Cheongnyangni and other destinations. The Chuncheon Intercity Bus Terminal and Chuncheon Express Bus Terminal offer extensive transportation options. The Central Expressway, Seoul-Chuncheon Expressway, and Seoul-Yangyang Expressway are easily accessible, making travel to Seoul convenient. Various projects near the complex, such as the East-West High-Speed Railway connecting Yongsan Station, Chuncheon Station, and Sokcho Station, the Second Gyeongchun National Road project, and the extension of the Metropolitan Express Railway (GTX)-B line to Chuncheon, are underway, which are expected to further enhance the future value of the area.

The area surrounding the complex is rich in green spaces, including Gongjicheon, Uiam Lake, Uiam Park, Samcheon-dong Ecological Park, Gongjicheon Amusement Park, and Gongjicheon Sculpture Park, providing a pleasant environment. Within walking distance are the Chuncheon City Youth Library, KT&G Sangsangmadang Chuncheon Art Center, and Gangwon Gugak Art Center. In addition, educational facilities such as Namchuncheon Elementary School, Chuncheon Middle School, Chuncheon High School, and Seongsu Girls' High School, as well as convenience facilities like Lotte Mart Chuncheon, Emart Chuncheon, and Legoland Korea Resort, are located within a 2 km radius. Public institutions such as Chuncheon Police Station, Chuncheon District Prosecutors' Office, Chuncheon District Court, Gangwon Provincial Government, and Chuncheon City Hall, as well as medical facilities like Gangwon National University Hospital and Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital, are also easily accessible. The area also includes the Chuncheon Urban Advanced Information Industrial Complex and Samsung SDS Urban Advanced Industrial Complex, providing excellent conditions for living close to work.


Chuncheon Lake City 2nd Phase I-Park features a south-facing design, innovative 4- and 5-bay flat layouts, and wide kitchen windows in all unit types, ensuring excellent sunlight and ventilation. The main entrance features a facial recognition system, and the complex is equipped with CCTV under Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles, providing residents with enhanced security and access control. Emergency bells are installed at regular intervals in the underground parking lot for quick response to emergencies, and a system is in place to indicate available parking spaces.


The entrance is equipped with a push-and-pull fingerprint recognition digital door lock. The entrance camera supports a black box function that automatically records if suspicious activity is detected. Inside, wall pads, integrated switches, and smart switches are installed according to each room's function. The living room wall pad controls lighting, heating, ventilation, and the door lock, while the integrated switch allows for 10-step adjustment of lighting brightness and color, as well as standby power cutoff for temperature control. An air quality sensor in the living room enables real-time monitoring of indoor air quality. Common areas are equipped with solar power facilities to reduce electricity costs, as well as electric vehicle charging stations and a remote metering system.
