This ceremony was hosted by the Korea Culture Sports Journal and organized by the Korea Culture and Arts Awards Selection Committee. It was established to recognize individuals who have contributed to the development of local communities in various fields, including politics, economy, and culture and arts.
Chairman Kim has served as president of the Gwangju District Council Chairmen’s Association and vice president of the National Council Chairmen’s Association, actively proposing policies for the advancement of local autonomy and raising awareness of regional issues. He stated, "I will take this as a call to devote myself even more to the development of Gwangsan District," adding, "I will continue to communicate with residents and listen to voices in the field."
