In Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, the city will hold a "Mobile Stamp Tour" for two months from September to October to promote the city's signature attractions, known as the "Ansan 12 Scenic Spots," and to encourage more citizen participation.
Earlier, the city expanded and reorganized its list of major tourist destinations, designating the coastal scenery of Daebudo and the cultural and ecological sites within the city as the "Ansan 12 Scenic Spots."
The Ansan 12 Scenic Spots consist of seven locations in Daebudo and five within Ansan city. Specifically, these include the Sihwa Tidal Power Plant, Daebu Haesol-gil Trail, Gubongdo Sunset, Tando Sea Road, Pungdo Island, Dongju Salt Field, Bada Hyanggi Arboretum, Ansan Reed Wetland, Multicultural Street, Kim Hongdo Road, Suam Peak and Ansan Eupseong Fortress, and Lake Park and Mugunghwa Hill.
To participate in the stamp tour, download the "Stamp Tour" app from the App Store or Play Store, then search for and select "Ansan 12 Scenic Spots Stamp Tour." When you visit each tourist site, the tour is automatically verified via GPS and you earn a stamp. After completing the tour, you can also join a review event for local restaurants and cafes.
The city will offer the following rewards to participants on a first-come, first-served basis: a 5,000-won mobile gift certificate for visiting five locations; a 15,000-won recharge for the Ansan local currency Daon gift certificate for visiting ten locations; and a 5,000-won mobile gift certificate for submitting a review after visiting a local restaurant or cafe.
