Customized Assessments and Guidance
for Businesses Vulnerable to Hygiene Issues
Yeongdeok County in North Gyeongsang Province is providing hygiene consultations to local businesses to prevent food poisoning during the summer season.
This consultation program is designed to help businesses voluntarily comply with and improve their hygiene management. The first session was held on August 12, and the program will continue through September.
The program targets businesses that have violated the Food Sanitation Act or received complaints within the past year. Ten general restaurants in the county that handle food ingredients with a high risk of causing food poisoning have been selected.
The consultation process includes a preliminary on-site inspection, followed by two rounds of food poisoning prevention assessments and customized hygiene guidance. ATP testing (contamination measurement) will be conducted to analyze improvements before and after the consultation.
Based on the analysis results, specific improvement measures tailored to each business will be proposed, and ongoing hygiene guidance will also be provided.
