Exclusive Benefits: Airline Tickets, Hotel Stays, and Local Discounts
On August 28, KB Kookmin Card announced that it has launched the "KB Kookmin Travelers Check Card Hong Kong Edition" in collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
The card plate features the iconic twin pandas and symbols representing Hong Kong. The vibrant red color and stylish lettering are designed to convey the city's energetic atmosphere and exotic charm.
To celebrate the launch, a special event will be held. For one month starting next month, new Travelers Check Card customers who make overseas purchases of at least 1 US dollar will be entered into a drawing to win airline tickets, hotel accommodation vouchers, and Ocean Park admission tickets.
During the same period, customers who spend at least 1 million KRW in Hong Kong will be entered into a separate drawing for round-trip Cathay Pacific airline tickets and a two-night hotel stay.
Additionally, until August next year, a monthly drawing event will offer round-trip Cathay Pacific tickets to Hong Kong for customers whose overseas spending exceeds 200,000 KRW each month.
Other benefits include discounts at local attractions, transportation discounts, complimentary drinks at popular restaurants, and meal discounts.
Cardholders can enjoy discounted Ocean Park tickets in Hong Kong, complimentary eSIMs on a first-come, first-served basis, discounts on hotel and flight bookings, up to 70 US dollars instant discount on Hong Kong hotel reservations through Klook, one-way Airport Express (AEL) tickets, a buy-one-get-one offer for the Victoria Peak Tram, and a 5% instant discount on Cathay Pacific ticket purchases.
In addition, a variety of perks such as complimentary drinks and meal discounts are available at local restaurants partnered with hotels including Hyatt Centric Hong Kong, EAST Hong Kong, and Eaton HK.

The KB Kookmin Travelers Check Card is a travel-specialized debit card that offers a variety of benefits for both overseas and domestic travel with no annual fee. When exchanging foreign currency in any of 56 currencies, customers receive a 100% preferential exchange rate, and fees are waived for overseas merchant transactions and ATM use.
When making overseas payments, customers can also choose in real time whether to pay using their foreign currency balance or foreign currency account.
