The "Youth Design Living Lab" is a participatory initiative aimed at creating an industrial complex that attracts young people. Following the opening at Wanju National Industrial Complex on August 8, it has now also launched at Changwon National Industrial Complex.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary last year, Changwon National Industrial Complex is a large-scale national industrial complex with a site area of 7.5 million pyeong and 120,000 employees. It has been facing the problem of young people leaving the area due to outdated facilities and a lack of cultural and lifestyle infrastructure.

At the first activity following the launch ceremony, the "Youth Design Living Lab First Workshop," participants discussed the current state of Changwon National Industrial Complex and shared ideas on the direction for future changes.

President Yoon Sangheum stated, "It is time for Changwon National Industrial Complex to become a place that attracts young people," adding, "We will actively support various creative initiatives through design."
